The leisure industry is one of the strongest and most attractive attributes of the Costa del Sol and it is known internationally as a tourist destination that can satisfy a visitor's every expectation.
Casinos: There are two high class establishments that are officially authorised, Casino Torrequebrada and Casino Marbella. All stakes are accepted and the most common forms of gambling are blackjack, roulette and the fruit machines.
 At the Mijas Hipodromo you can watch and bet on races throughout the day and night at the weekly meetings. It has proved very successful in attracting the attention of the main jockeys and stables from Spain and abroad.
Bullfighting: The traditional time for this celebration of Spanish culture is at seven in the evening, but it occasionally occurs during the night. There are usually six bulls with each performance lasting twenty minutes and the duration of the bullfighting is just over two hours.
Ports and Marinas: The popular ports and marinas on the Costa del Sol, including Puerto Banús, Marbella and Estepona attract thousands of visitors of all ages.
 Nightclubs: In the tourist areas of the Costa del Sol there is a wide range of discos and nightclubs, from small and popular venues to luxurious superclubs. The licensing laws in Spain allow clubs to remain open until very late.
Cinema and Theatre: There are nine theatres in the Costa del Sol. The times and dates of performances can vary, but normally there will be a few shows running at any one time of the year. Cinemas can be found in every town in the Costa del Sol.
Concerts: The level of tourism in the Costa del Sol is such that famous international artists can put on large concerts. The Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, Julio Iglesias, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson and George Michael have played here in the past.
Beautiful landscapes and Rural tourism
The uneven landscape of Málaga is one of the key reasons why there is such a variety of natural environments in such a small area. The Costa del Sol is actually one of the most mountainous regions in Spain with high sierras, luxuriant valleys and streams, and thriving wetlands.
Rural tourism has experienced extraordinary growth in recent years, due to increasing environmental concerns and the interest in conserving and protecting natural areas and rural locations. These areas are ideal for excursions, mountain bike tours or hiking. However, more and more people visit these areas in order to discover the flora and fauna as well as to deepen their knowledge of the culture and the traditions.

We have many luxuriously appointed properties, sleeping from four to twelve people. They are furnished to a very high standard. Each property has its own style as they are owned by individual families from around the world.
 All properties have fully fitted kitchens and there is satellite TV in the comfortable living rooms. Most have excellent views and balconies where you can soak up the Spanish sunshine which abounds for over 40 weeks of the year.

Beaches
Marbella has 24 different tourist beaches along 27 kilometres of coastline. Beaches are cleaned daily in summer and winter both manually and mechanically and the sea water quality is high. Equipment and services normally include showers and public toilets, life saving and first aid equipment, as well as being supervised by life guards in the summer season. A range of water sports can generally be practiced including windsurfing and jet skiing.
GUADALMINA BEACH
Situated within the town of San Pedro de Alcantara, next to the Guadalmina urbanization, this beach is 1.6 km long and 30 m. wide with thick golden sand, typical of this area of the Mediterranean. Services available include the four star Guadalmina Hotel and two beach clubs and two "chiringuitos" (beach restaurants) with sun beds. Surrounding this beach are 3rd century historic ruins, situated within a protected archaeological area. Medium occupation.
LINDA VISTA BEACH
Close to the town of San Pedro Alcantara, next to the Linda Vista Urbanization, this beach is 550m long and 40m wide, with thick golden sand. Among the services included on the beach are two beach clubs and a beach bar. On the northern part of the beach there is a protected archaeological settlement at which it is possible to see the Vega Del Mar Paleo Christian Basilica. Popular.
SAN PEDRO DE ALCANTARA BEACH
Located near the centre of San Pedro de Alcantara, this beach is a 1 km long and 35 m wide, made up by medium dark sand. Among the services offered are a recently built promenade that goes all along the beach area. There are 6 beach restaurants with sun beds and one beach club with swimming pool and paddle tennis court. There is also a free children's playing area on the beach. Popular.
NUEVA ANDALUCIA BEACH
Situated in Nueva Andalucia and close to Puerto Banus, this beach is 1.1 km long and 30m wide, made up by fine sand, typical of the Mediterranean area. Among the services offered there are four beach clubs with swimming pools and also six beach restaurants with sun beds. Popular.

RÍO VERDE BEACH
Next to the river with the same name, this beach is situated within the Rio Verde Urbanization. It is 1.2 km long beach and 30 m wide, made up by black sand deposited by the Rio Verde River. Close by are the remains of a Hispano Roman villa from the first century, known as the Rio Verde Roman Villa. Among the services offered is the Coral Beach Hotel with four stars, as well as a beach club and three beach restaurants. The sea is classified as being in good condition. Medium occupation.
EL ANCON BEACH
Located next to the El Ancon Urbanization this beach is 900 meters long and 20 meters wide, and is made up of fine blonde medium sand. Services include two beach restaurants. Quiet.
NAGÜELES BEACH
This beach is situated on the Golden Mile of Marbella, next to the Marbella Club Urbanization. It is 800 meters long and some 50 meters wide, made up by blonde sand. The beach is flanked by a promenade. Among the services available are the two prestige five star hotels, the Puente Romano and the Marbella Club, as well as two beach clubs and a beach restaurant. CASA BLANCA BEACH
Located in the Casa Blanca Urbanization, this beach is 2 KM long and 45 m wide, made up by regenerated sand. The beach is flanked by a recently built promenade. Medium occupation.
LA FONTANILLA BEACH
Within Marbella itself, this beach is 800 m long and 30 m wide, made up of black regenerated sand. The whole beach is flanked by the pedestrian promenade and it is next to the Leisure Port in Marbella. Among the services offered are ten beach restaurants with sun beds. Busy.
EL FARO BEACH
Situated to the West of the Leisure Port in Marbella between the Port entrance and the breaker, this beach is in the very centre of Marbella. It is 300 m long and 35 m wide and the sand is blonde and fine. Among the services offered are two beach restaurants as well as a children's play area on the beach which is free to use. The Red Cross rescue base is situated in the Leisure Port. Busy.
LA VENUS BEACH
Located close to the Marbella Sports Port and going as far as the Represa River, this beach is 500 m long and 40 meters wide, made up of black regenerated sand. Among the services offered are three beach restaurants with sun beds, as well as a children's play area on the beach which is free to use. Busy.
LA BAJADILLA BEACH
Close to the fishing port in Marbella, this beach is 700 m long and 35 m wide and is made up by medium grain black sand. Among the services offered are three beach restaurants with sun beds. Busy.
EL CABLE BEACH
Stretching from the Fishing Port to the Rio Real River, this beach is 1.3 km long and 40 m wide, with fine golden sand. Among the services offered are two beach restaurants with sun beds and a camping site. Being in a quieter location, this beach has a reduced number of showers and public toilets. These are situated close to the Fishing Port as this is where the beach restaurants are located. Quiet.
EL PINILLO BEACH
This beach is situated next to the Los Monteros Urbanization, in an area with large houses and green areas, with a medium density of population. It is 1.5 km long and 30m wide, with golden sand forming natural dunes. Due to its special characteristics the number of services is reduced. Quiet.
LOS MONTEROS BEACH
Lying next to the Bahia de Marbella Urbanization, this beach is 2 km in length and 50 m in width and is made up of fine golden sand, very typical of a sand dune area, and the beaches are rock free with shallow waters. Among the services offered is the five star Los Monteros Hotel as well as two beach restaurants and a beach club. Busy.
ALICATE BEACH
This beach is situated in a semi-urban area, surrounded by urbanizations with low buildings. It is 1.9 km long and 35 m wide, and is made up by fine golden sand of the dune type. Among the installations we find the Pinomar Hotel, as well as 11 beach bars and a beach club. Medium occupation
REAL DE ZARAGOZA BEACH
Located next to the Real de Zaragoza Urbanization, this beach is 1.8km long and 50 m wide, made up by fine golden san of the dune type. Among the facilities are seven beach restaurants with sun beds as well as the five star, Don Carlos Hotel. Medium occupation
LA VIBORA BEACH
Situated in a semi urban area next to La Vibora river, this beach is 650 m long and 35 m wide, made up by fine golden dune type sand. Among the installations are two beach restaurants and a beach club. Medium occupation.
LAS CHAPAS BEACH
Situated in Las Chapas, this beach is 1.0 km long and 40 m wide and is made up by fine golden, dune type sand. Facilities include a camp site and four beach restaurants. Medium occupation.
ELVIRIA LA ROMANA BEACH
Located between the Don Carlos Hotel and the Romana Playa Hotel, this beach is 35 m wide and is made up by fine golden, dune type sand. Facilities include the El Laurel beach restaurant with parking at the beach. Medium occupation.
LAS CAÑAS BEACH
This beach is situated in a semi-urban area, next to the Marbesa Urbanization and is made up of fine golden sand and stones. It is 1.2 km long and 10 m wide and is a narrow beach that has been slightly eroded by storms. Among the installations available there are five beach restaurants, three with sun beds. Quiet.
ARTOLA BEACH
Located in a protected sand dune area, known as Las Dunas De Artola, next to the Cabopino Leisure Port, this beach is 1.5 km long and 25 m wide, made up by fine sand from the dunes. This beach is a naturist beach, with a medium occupation level. Within the beach is the port of Cabopino, one of the prettiest Leisure Ports on the Costa del Sol, as well as excellent beach restaurants and a camp site. Beach facilities include showers and public toilets. Medium occupation.
CALAHONDA BEACH
This beach is situated on the Eastern limit of the municipality of Marbella, in fact most of it is located in Mijas. It is 900 m long and 30 m wide, made up by fine sand. Among the services available is a beach restaurant with sun beds. Quiet
